What does No Fillers Mean?

A label claim indicating the food doesn’t contain any other type of protein or other added ingredients, such as soy, feather meal, corn, peanut hulls, except animal protein. Most fillers are added to pet food for the benefit of the manufacturer to help stabilize food for shipping, prolong shelf life, turn raw ingredients into processed food, or to make production more cost effective.
