All my dogs love tripe . It has enzymes from the lambs stomach . Wolves in the wild would eat guts of prey first , organ meat then the rest . So the “ guts of prey “ is your unprocessed tripe ! European breeders of Irish wolfhounds fed tripe and had dogs living well over 10 years , which is unheard of in the US for large breed dogs . If you feed it , give no more than 25% of total food by volume and introduce gradually . You dont want the poopies . Go slow . So … slice it up in little portions and freeze the rest . It is a superfood . just go slow with it initially .

Trying to fix my standard poodles dysbiosis, Soft stool problem!
I have to say we have succeeded in less than two months!
I’ m experimenting, but I have removed probiotics that I always added to her diet and it seems that she has better bowel movements without all the probiotics!
I think she is getting everything she needs from the RawPaws diet!

I buy a variety of tripe products for my two, small geriatric dogs. They always love when I feed them Raw Paws Pet Food. I mix a packet of Meal Mix from Dr. Karen Becker - it has other vitamins and minerals that could be missing from simply raw meat. One packet per pound of meat. It's a bit of work to thaw and portion out, but it's worth it because they love it and I know it's good for them.

I mix the tripe with other meats. Dogs are happy.

Dogs loves stinky things, and this is it. I could put it with something he doesn't like and he eat it. But my kitchen still smells like green tripe after I cut off what I needed and put the rest back in the freezer. And that was diluting a small slicewith everything else that goes in his food. I know he likes it, but it is really stinky, and I'm not sure I want that smell in my kitchen.

First time I bought this for my dogs, I always used to buy the beef tripe. Well my dogs went crazy over it. I also used it as a topper for one of my picky eaters and he dived into his food and ate every morsel.

Great customer service from rawpaws. Used the green tripe since I got my new pup. Used the freeze dried green tripe treats for my last baby. Tried all 3 of the tripe flavors. The lamb and goat are much softer and not as stringy as the beef. My pup likes all 3, beef, lamb and just ordered the goat to try. So far he likes them all. Use Mixed with every meal..

About 6 months ago, my 14 year old Cavachon was diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease (BUN of 56, creatinine of 2.2). My vet convinced me to put her on a dry prescription kidney diet for a few months, but after further research, I switched her to a more natural, moisture-rich diet of Dr. Harvey's canine health with tripe. I have been rotating between the goat, lamb and beef tripe, with a different tripe protein each week. She LOVES her new food and gobbles up the tripe raw (she has never eaten raw previously). In just 1 month of the tripe-based meals, her BUN has decreased to 37, and her creatinine is now in the NORMAL range at 1.5 (0.5-1.8). Raw tripe has been able to reverse her kidney disease, which we were told would be progressive. Thank you Raw Paws!

O really appreciate that Raw Paws carries the tripe. We haven't found it anywhere else. We have found the lamb tripe has a “lighter” smell than all the others.
