Chicken backs are the perfect crunch. They are great to feed as a tasty snack or as your calcium supplement for your own raw recipe. My dogs love them! Great for all sized dogs since the bones are not too hard.

Always quality food. This time all my chicken back bags were punctured/leaking upon defrost. This honestly could have been due to the bones or the packaging. It is a good idea to have them in a secondary container while defrosting!
Both dogs loved these, even my 15 year old Wire Fox Terrier had no problem. Another great bargain from Raw Paws.

Thawing
I have recently moved from the Amarillo area to an isolated town in the Big Bend region. My dog is 2.5 years old, and I have raised her on raw. So, for the past couple of years, I have purchased raw foods (a big-name brand) for my dog at a store in the city of Amarillo, and upon moving to Marfa, I was at a loss of how to continue obtaining them. Most particularly, I feed my dog raw chicken backs because she and I do long-distance trail running, and the backs are an excellent source of natural joint health. Fortunately, I discovered Raw Paws online, and not only do they offer everything that I could get in a big city, but they have more! The first shipment arrived in excellent condition and completely frozen, in the middle of a Texas summer! Raw Paws has saved the day for my dog and I, and I will continue relying on their service. I love giving my dog chicken backs... not just for the meat and bone source, but because it promotes healthy teeth and gums from chewing. I give chicken backs often and these are very nice in terms of quality. Only draw back is thawing and separating such a large package. However, this product is worth the effort, as it benefits my dog greatly.

We have been very happy with our orders from Raw Paws. Our two dogs eat mostly raw chicken and the chicken backs are great! Delivery in the dry ice packs works well. I would like to see some future packaging without Styrofoam, but also realize the challenges to keep things cold in shipment. We will use Raw Paws as our main Raw chicken provider for our dachshund and terrier.
